- Préparation de la Pâte à brioche. Mettre le lait tiède dans le bol du robot et incorporer la levure émiettée dans le lait. Aoutez la farine le sucre et les oeufs mélangez le tout. Une fois la Pâte bien homogène ajouter le beurre mou et pétrir au robot pendant 15 min. Couvrir d'un linge propre et laisser pousser pendant 1h30 à température ambiante.

- Mise en forme. Dans une casserole à feu doux ajouter les 50gr de beurre et les 40gr de sucre et la vanille en poudre. Bien mélanger pour obtenir une préparation bien homogène. Etaler la Pâte à brioche sur un plan de travail légèrement fariné pour former un rectangle de 30x50cm. Badigeonner le mélange beurre/sucre/vanille sur la Pâte à brioche. Rouler la Pâte dans le sens de la longueur. Couper 5cm à chaque extrémité du boudin et réservé.
- Ensuite fendre le boudin sur toutes sa longueur en s'arrêtant à 2cm de l'une des extrémités,écarter les deux brins pour venir insérer l'une des deux chutes du boudin,former la tresse et ajouter la deuxième chute du boudin puis souder la tresse. Déposer la brioche dans un moule à cake de 30cm et laisser pousser 45min à température ambiante.
- La cuisson. Préchauffer le four en chaleur tournante à 180°C. Mélanger le jaune d'oeuf avec une CS de lait. Badigeonner la brioche avec cette préparation. Faire cuire 45min en couvrant à mi-cuisson d'une feuille de papier cuisson.
- Le sirop. Dans une casserole mettre l'eau/sucre/vanille et porter à ébullition. Sortir du four,et badigeonnez avec le sirop chaud, laisser reposer 15min avant de démouler.
